When we left it was getting very busy and there were people waiting to get in. You almost thought you were at a tropical beach bar and not sitting in a parking lot. After diner we went to the bar area which was very nice. There were other open tables so not sure why she was going to do this but I was going to protest if she tried doing that again - but she did not.
They decided not to sit there and went outside obviously because she could only have moved the table over about 2 inches from us and it would have been like we are were all dining together. At one point the hostess brought two people over and started to move the second table over so they could sit there. We were two people seated at table for four but it was two small tables pushed together. We were sitting next to a door marked "wine cellar" which was the stairs to the basement and the servers kept going in and out of this door slamming it shut etc which also was disturbing. We were there very early in the evening before things got busy and the wait staff hung around the kitchen area talking, laughing, acting up, hollering over the kitchen area to each other like there was a wall that diners couldn't see and hear this. The chefs were very professional but it is a congregating area for the servers. It is very very small and the kitchen is open for guests to see - which I am not a fan. With that said there are a few things I didn't like. I had the special which was catfish over ravioli and it was the best I have ever had. It is very good fine dining food in a very casual atmosphere. The restuarant is run by the woman who own's the "Putter's" restuarants.
